Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers History and Purpose

The PVDF began in 1972 as a non-profit corporation.  Our purpose is to further the advancement of all purebred dogs, and to encourage sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, rally trials and other AKC licensed competitions.

PVDF strives to coordinate our activities with other purebred dog clubs, promote educational activities relating to purebred dogs, and support AKC dog judge education.  We recommend participation in handling and obedience classes, promote junior handlers, and encourage new exhibitors.
