2023 Western Washington Summer Cluster

Reserved Grooming Space

PVDF Grooming Space Reservations
The Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers has arranged for reserved grooming spaces in three (3) buildings at the Western Washington Fairgrounds near the ShowPlex Building where the conformation event is conducted.   Grooming spaces will be located in: 1) the Pavilion; 2) Centennial Building ("Bubble"), and, 3) if needed, Barn M, the Large Animal Barn.  The Pavilion and Centennial Buildings will be filled first, then, if needed, the Animal Barn.  Reservations requested for specific buildings or adjoining spaces will be accommodated if space is available. Where limited, assignments will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis.  A maximum of 4 contiguous spaces is allowed per reservation.

Each reserved space is approximately 100 square feet.   Most spaces are approximately 10x10'.   Center aisles in the Centennial (Bubble) building are approximately 8x12'.  All paid/reserved grooming spaces have power.

The Puyallup Valley Dog Fanciers appreciates your participation in 2023 Western Washington Summer Cluster Dog Show and look forward to meeting you at the grooming area.

Grooming Space Reservations - Registration is now Open

Effective 2 PM, Monday, May 15, 2023
The cost for each grooming space is $80.   Click on the "Grooming Space" button to be taken to the online reservation form to reserve and pay by credit or debit card for grooming spaces.

Three buildings are available for Grooming: Pavilion; Centennial Building, (called "The Bubble"), and Animal Barn M. All spaces will be assigned on the basis of preference, first come (registered), first served.

Pavilion - Most exhibitors prefer this facility as it is fully enclosed and closest to the Showplex, where the conformation rings, event administration and vendors are located.  It has restrooms, is air conditioned and grooming is located on the first level with concrete floors.  The Obedience and rally events take place on the 2nd floor.   In the absence of other preferences, the Pavilion will be assigned first until filled; approximately 130 spaces.

Centennial Building -  is located south of the ShowPlex and has approximately 70 spaces in an arched membrane building.  The flooring in this building is asphalt concrete paving.   This is the only facility in which lined X-pens are allowed inside the building.  Note: privately-owned X-pens are not allowed inside or outside any other building.

Barn M (Large Animal Barn)- is located immediately south of the Showplex.   It is actually the closest building to the Showplex.  Barn M will only be used for grooming if the demand exceeds the capacity of the combined Pavilion and Centennial buildings.   The northeast portion of the Barn M is the only section of the building that will be used.   Sixteen of the grooming spaces are configured as animal stalls, 15-feet by 10', with dirt floors.  There are two additional stalls that are 10-feet by 10-feet  with dirt floors.   The 20-foot wide aisle between the two rows of stalls is asphalt concrete.   This building is not air-conditioned.  There is electrical power to each stall.  Restrooms available for users of this building are in the ShowPlex.

The reservation form (see button and link below) has a space for you to select your preference, however assignments of available spaces will be made in order of first come, first served, based on the date-time of the paid reservation.

There will be a 4-station wash facility located between the Barn M and the Arena.
